I find that a ridiculous thing to say. No one is stealing anything. We're all contributing to a good society. We're just arguing about what it should be spent on and how much. Without taxes you literally don't have a government or country.

Why do the facts of book publishing have to be a fight on this platform? It helps no one. There is no secret sauce. There is no publisher/agent/editor, etc, "out to get you." It's a tough, mostly unfair business. People complain about it, but many of them also want their books published. There is a TON of good info out there, yet people insist on posting the worst information. 😤
