Guys guys so the illustrator is working on sketches for the cover of my book and asked what family symbols he should incorporate and I named persimmon fruit, persimmon flower, persimmon tree b/c my grandma hallucinated about persimmons a lot when she was near the end and my mother used to eat persimmon flowers when she was little b/c she thought they would make her pretty and I dreamt my grandma was waiting for me in a persimmon tree right after she died.
