I'd say that the 90's were peak dream state.

Yet with the rise of access to information, most of the world has started to wake up and saw what has been actually going on for decades and how society truly is.

Humanity can use this information and adapt for the better, or evolutionwise fall into decay and vanish.

Also with the Nokia 2210. The last great tech before the societal plunge into smart phone hell. There were still record stores. People could have a civil discussion with opposing viewpoints. Great decade for film and music
