In middle school, I stayed home sick a LOT. I wasn't popular, and was dealing with a lot of depression related to bullying.

One day, my mom went to get my sister from school. I was home alone for less than 5 minutes before someone started pushing keys on the electronic keypad, and then the error sound chimed.

Immediately, I'm thinking - my sister just forgot the code. I look out the peep hole. Three neighborhood kids (my age) we knew were on the porch, trying to get into my house.

"jemminy" is the way the astronauts and (most) people working at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston pronounced it in the early 1960s. There's still debate about which pronunciation is "correct," but MOST astronauts pronounce it "jemminy." Apollo 11's Mike Collins uses both. The "gem-i-nye" pronunciation has become a little more common over time.

I actually would not be surprised if the EU bans or limits U.S. citizens visiting.

This has been studied for decades. There is tons of research and publications about this. There have been tons of studies done on this.
