Is it safe to put the ice melt away New England?!

No you have a ceremony where the ice melt goes away and the patio furniture comea out the Saturday of mother's day weekend. Then you go to the local garden center on mother's day and buy the plants for the summer. Not Home Depot the place in every new England area with the 90 year old lady who tells you it's too early to put the plants in the ground

Eastern NYer here crashing the party…we moved the snow melt from the deck to the basement. Snow brushes still in the car. Snowblower put away but still accessible. That’s where we are. 80 degrees today, 40 next week. 🤨

I slowly tiptoed up my stairs with my winter boots and quietly put them in the closet last week. But I didn’t dare put them in storage yet.

Snow shovel and ice melt are away here. We might need jackets again, but I'm staying hopeful that we're done with the worst of the snow

I made the mistake of putting away my shovels, and then we got snow last week so I’m going to say wait until early May at least.

My brother in law just put his snow shovel away. I'm blaming him for any snow we get. My winter coat will stay out til May 1st

We were going to remove the plow stakes from our driveway but don't want to be the ones to blame if there's more white shit.

My snow shovel has been on my front porch since February. I'm not moving it until June. Not taking any chances...

I live on an island and the roads are so narrow that the plows are constantly knocking down people's mailboxes. The town does cover the cost to replace them.
