Man, i wish i had the monthly income to buy a newer car. Im honestly so sick of having to fix my truck every other month. The Mazda3 hatch with the 2.5 and a manual is so appealing
Do the auto turbo AWD instead of you want the oomph. Otherwise just get a turbo CX-30. If you're into the whole modification stuff, a 3rd gen with a turbo is where the funs at. Especially around the 250 HP range, unfortunately fwd, but the MS3 is as well. Little fun pocket rockets.
The turbo models are AWD. I dont want an auto, and I really dont want a turbo car. Id rather not complicate anything with FI.
i miss my mazda hatch 😭 it was a 2.3 and could drive both manual & auto
Man, mazda is rated #1 or 2 for reliability nowadays. The 2.5 makes 190+ hp, and gets 36mpg highway, and i could get it with a 6spd manual. They look like the interior is super nice for the price too. A brand new one is ~30k, thats a really decent price nowadays

that 2.5 manual is peppy and fun. i had the auto since it was my first car (2017) but bought a ms3 and ms6 down the road. also had the 2.5t hatch and cx50 tpp. great cars
Its funny, because when I was younger, i thought hatches were goofy and dumb. Now I love them. I love the focus, the mazda3, I even like foxbody hatches 🤣
I feel you man. You can hear my car before you see it. The rear brakes are sticking. There's rust everywhere. I just want something quiet, reliable and safe.
