I decided to try and revive a long-abandoned pen name by going full breeding kink with it and in two days I’ve dragged one old-ass book from #300,000 in the Kindle store to #14,676
They’re making excuses for this black man because we live in a racist society that categorizes all black men the same, therefore by defending him or making excuses for his behaviors, they are defending themselves. That’s really all it is. 
Some days the chronic illness grief hits really hard. I know it could always be worse, but not being able to trust and feel safe in my own body can be so heavy. Today is one of those days that the "I wish I could just be normal" that I whisper to myself comes from the depths of my tired, tired heart.
