I want to explain something very clearly. Senators are everyone’s business everywhere. It doesn’t matter what state. This is 2026 not 1806. The Senate votes in partisan blocks. If your Senator is shady and problematic I have to deal with it when important legislation fails or horrific judges get seated or whatever. That’s the lesson of Fetterman and Sinema, Collins and Murkowski. (Manchin was in a deep deep red state where just having the seat sometimes vote with us was a major accomplishment).
