After years of living with diabetes, Steve Canzoneri developed kidney failure.

He received the transplant he needed at Mayo Clinic in Arizona and became the first patient at Mayo Clinic to undergo a robotic pancreas-kidney transplant. The minimally invasive approach allows surgeons to operate through smaller incisions.
