Former Detroit Tigers manager Phil Garner has passed away at the age of 76.

Garner managed Detroit from 2000 to 2002 and spent 16 seasons in Major League Baseball as a player and manager.

Known throughout baseball as “Scrap Iron,” Garner leaves behind a long legacy in the game.

Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
