To fathom distance. ONE LIGHT DAY is 16 billion miles, which is about 5x the distance to Pluto. At 25,000 mph it would take us 73 years to travel that distance. We are never ever ever ever ever going this far. This is why telescope missions are a great investment. When you hear that something is a “light year” away it might as well be forever away.
