since you are posting, you must be able to articulate the standard you use for discerning between posts from morally justified persons, unjust persons, philosophical materialists and, in anticipation of a counter argument, nihilists.
Performative righteousness on a single day vs actions, words, and beliefs the rest of the time…
James says that speech is a measure of how well your walk is compared to your talk.
Jesus says from the heart speaks.
Pauls says that if you speak in tongues, it should be done in the presence of an interpreter…
If you cant articulate the Word in a way that isnt confusing, you haven’t understood it.
Not all people who post are the worst, but all the worst are posting. Hope this helps for all those who took this post so personally lol.

I made a post the other day on fb about how, for a religion thats supposed to be loving and kind to people, xtians sure do get the most butthurt and hateful towards others...
My husband got pissed because his mother and his friends are largely xtian. This was also before I added on a ETA about how, yes, not all of them, and I do have very lovely religious friends who are not like that, and I love them all the more for it.
If you're not a hateful xtian, then it shouldn't bother you.

I’m all for letting people believe in what they want, but when people who have done absolutely horrible things to you and your child try to post sermons on religious holidays, it’s WILD. The sheer hypocrisy used to bother me, now I am healing to the point where I just find it comical. I guess that’s a win.

Not understanding that people
have the ability to change is kinda demonic because your image of their past is still being pushed into your reality. Satan is a accuser.
It’s not about changing - it’s about performative righteousness on a single day while simultaneously working against the teachings all other times.
So give me a example of the other teachings being worked against?
nah… you just think that way because the people closest to you caused you to suffer so much… and they claimed to believe what we believe… when they never tried to understand their Bible’s because their intelligibility and comprehension were only as big as their wallet or their capacity for hope. Hopelessness is practiced by the hopeless…
Having hope takes discipline and faith and love…
If you find a person who claims to know God, but doesnt practice having hope… they do not follow Christ.
