They can keep dropping Artemis photos all they want and show us this Earth Joy back here, but a group hug with tears telling us it’s okay to experience aching grief openly along with immense gratitude, wonder and togetherness at the same time will always be the highest, brightest most awe-inspiring point of the mission. I’m interested in if there’s over-representation (casual observation says yes), how it varies by both school ranking and location, prevalence at schools with postgrad programming vs none (e.g. do they have Mellon/ McNair chapters), distribution based on degree/major, time span between degrees, and first-gen student vs generational college student.
I’ve encountered so many who go from HBCUs to Walden, Capella, etc
