ADAM HAD A WIFE BEFORE EVE.

HER NAME WAS LILITH.

SHE WAS REMOVED FROM GENESIS BECAUSE SHE REFUSED TO BE SUBORDINATE TO A MAN.

AND THE RABBIS WHO ERASED HER DOCUMENTED EXACTLY WHY THEY DID IT.

Lilith appears in the oldest Hebrew texts as Adam’s first wife. created simultaneously with him from the same earth.

Not from his rib. Not after him. At the same moment. From the same source.

When Adam demanded she lie beneath him she refused.

She said they were created equal. She would not submit.

And she left.

The text that documents this is the Alphabet of Ben Sira. written between 700 and 1000 AD.

It records the rabbinical tradition that Lilith spoke the name of God and flew out of Eden.

Three angels were sent to bring her back. She refused to return.

She was then recast as a demon. a child-killing night spirit. to ensure no woman would ever invoke her name as justification for equality.

The original Genesis text contains a contradiction that biblical scholars have documented for centuries.

Genesis 1:27 — “God created mankind in his image. Male and female he created them.”

Genesis 2:22 — “The Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man.”

Two different creation accounts. Two different women.

The first woman — created equal and simultaneously — was Lilith.

The editors of Genesis replaced her with Eve and hoped nobody compared the verses.

The demonization of Lilith followed a precise pattern.

A woman who claimed equality was made into a monster.

Her independence became dangerous. Her refusal to submit became evil. Her departure from a relationship that demanded her subordination became abandonment and wickedness.

The same pattern used on Mary Magdalene 1,500 years later.

Any woman whose existence challenged male religious authority was rewritten as a cautionary tale.

Lilith survived in the Kabbalistic tradition as a complex figure. simultaneously demon and divine feminine force.

She survived in the mythology of cultures across the ancient Near East. as Lamashtu in Babylonian texts, as a storm demon in Sumerian records, always a powerful feminine intelligence that existed outside male control.

She survived because the memory of the first woman — the one who said no — is too deep in human consciousness to be simply edited away.

they removed the first woman from the first book because she refused to be less than what she was created to be.

they replaced her with a woman made from a man’s rib who brought sin into the world.

and built a theology of female subordination on the edited version.

now you know what they replaced.
and why. 🌿

Funny how ‘disobedient’ women become ‘dangerous’ in stories written by MEN.

Just a reminder that since Eve came from a piece of Adam, she's technically trans.

She was not Adam’s equal and she was not made at the same time as Adam. She was made FIRST. And completely in the same image as the creator she had the ability to create life without needing to lay with Adam. She could commune with nature in ways that Adam could not. She had a deeper understanding of the beasts and the nature that Adam DID NOT. She had a wisdom closure to God that Adam did not. Adam was like God’s child. And Lilith was something in between God and Human.

That’s actually not correct. Lilith doesn’t appear anywhere in Genesis or the Bible. She comes from later Jewish folklore (like the Alphabet of Ben Sira), which isn’t considered scripture.

There’s also no historical evidence that she was “removed” from the text — Genesis was preserved very early and consistently. The idea of Lilith as Adam’s first wife is a later legend, not a deleted part of the Bible.

Such a bullshit story. But people will find it “empowering” and believe it without even doing their research.

This is how lies get spread and become the truth to many.

So basically they demonized both wives of Adam whom God himself created? That doesn’t seem very God-loving to me. Are they saying God made a mistake? I’m not religious but the irony and hypocrisy of religion just pisses me off. You can’t pretend like God made everyone the way they are supposed to be… except if they’re gay or trans or women or prostitutes etc. I heard about Lilith but never like this and I’m mad about it

There are hundreds or thousands of women goddess figures in almost every religion across the world. Christianity came along and made the sacred feminine small and controllable. And look where that has gotten us

She was the Assyrian Lamashtu before the Hebrews plagiarized the Assyrian religion and wrote the Torah and Old Testament. Same plagiarism as the Bible. These stories are all written on clay tablets thousands of years before the Hebrews.

I remember studying the Bible in my youth and pointing that Genesis 1:27 and 2:22 read like there was another woman before Eve and asked what it meant. I was told I was overthinking.

So between that and a few other things I questioned, I was told I was asking inappropriate questions instead of following the teachings. I stopped going to my church not long after.

The Alphabet of Ben Sira is medieval Jewish folklore. If you want to believe in Lilith, by all means, go ahead but stop referencing her as someone who was “removed from the Bible.” Ben Sira and the Bible are two different books. Lilith was never in Genesis. That story is basically ancient fan fiction written to twist the biblical narrative.

According to the mythology, she left Eden after refusing to submit to Adam and eventually became a demon figure.. what’s funny is…

A Rabbi once told me the story of Lilith was written by men who wanted to control the women in their lives, because those men feared defiance more than actual sin. He said Lilith's story is nothing more than a way to demonize women and the wives who wouldn't submit to their husbands.

A good rabbi is one who knows the history and culture behind their religion, not just the text. And a good man never mistreats a woman.

Lilith was not removed from Genesis. The notion another woman was created prior to the creation of Eve was an interpretive innovation of early Judaism & the identification of this woman as Lilith wasn't made until between 700–1000 CE in a text called the Alphabet of Ben Sira. I discuss this in the video below. This content creator continues to loudly assert misinformation they don't understand.

For anyone reading this lie follow this thread: There, the term is debated. Some translate it as Lilith, while others render it as something like a night creature, night monster, or similar desert being. So the Bible does not clearly teach a developed Lilith figure, much less Adam’s first wife.

That specific storyline is tied to the Alphabet of Ben Sira, a much later work commonly dated to around the early medieval period, and not to the canonical Bible.
