Nothing the flight crew could pull off at that point. But how is there zero surrounding awareness from the fire truck side? They couldn't hear the engines or see the landing lights? Clearance or not, that's basic "look both ways" stuff. Terrible loss.
It looks like the fire truck tried to take evasive action to the left but too late. ATC in the US is propagating an appalling safety record on the ground and in the air. This needscto be fixed overhauled immediately

As you can see the impact was to the rear passenger side of the AARF vehicle. Visibility however looks to be way better than noted by others.
It was definitely doing more than 30mph, and it a fire truck that is large and heavy.
The fire truck shouldn’t have been there. Airplanes have 100% right of way on the ground.
Wow! Over worked ACs? Incredible mistakes made between Emergency and AC crews. 😢
🇨🇦 hey bud, there's enough photos we don't need the video.
Hey can you blur this out. I didn’t want to see this.
My bad for watching. Omg. Terrifying. 💔
Jfc. Take this down. Two pilots are dead, you fucking ghoul.
Un camión puede para pero un avión no puedes abortar un aterrizaje
definitely going 100+mph in this footage, idk why media outlets are saying the jet was only going 24mph
Un camión puedes frenar pero un avión
