Any general or officer who refuses illegal orders should be fast-tracked to become a future member of Congress or a senator.
I like this. I retired from the Air Force in protest of the first round of firings last year. Now I am running for Congress to defeat the man who sat by and let it happen.

Electing congressmen who understand and obey their oath to the Constitution is fundamental. These yingyangs who want to obey their Party, some preacher or the Pope first and foremost need to look for another job.
Senators are members of Congress. And yes to fast tracking, but maybe fast track to a medal or ambassadorship, not a seat in the House or Senate. I like having elections.

Why? Members of Congress are on continuous vacations , begging for money from lobbyists/tech companies and do nothing but perform for the camera. If you’re a military leader with decades of training & experience, you’d go out of your mind listening to them bs each other and never accomplish anything.
No. Im sorry but we have elections for a reason. Putting people into power without consulting the populace is not the solution to anything. This idea is a step backwards and short sighted. Who's to say they have any sort of political acumen to navigate the global stage? Or that they hold ideals that are beneficial to the country?
Yeah our current system needs work but this idea won't work.

Yea, no. Leading armies isn't the same thing as leading countries. People need to get over that idea that they are interchangeable.
And we’d do this why? Military members tend to be more conservative in my experience.
