It's all about calorie deficit. You can support calorie deficit by working out, yes. But you can't work out to specifically lose e.g. belly fat. If some pretends that this is possible he either is uneducated or a liar.
The only way you could support losing fat at all is level 2 cardio. But even then you support fat loss. 80-90% comes from nutrition - easy said: by eating less. 🤷🏻♂️
