Oral arguments have just ended in the Supreme Court case on birthright citizenship, and it's pretty clear Trump will lose. The only question is by what margin.

The United States Solicitor General is "Our finest lawyer not sitting on the Supreme Court" as a general proposition. The job is to make the argument on behalf of The United States of America. It's difficult. The government takes enraging, painful positions at times. Yet. It's my government. It's my nation. It's me.

Today, D. John Sauer disgraced himself. He went before the Court to argue that I am no citizen of this country. That my citizenship is conditional and revokable. He is a traitor.

I personally think Moby-Dick is coded for the female gaze (it’s so beautifully poetic) so I don’t understand everyone throwing it into the Man Books pile

I am listening to Ron Desantis talk about elections as he is about to sign a new voter suppression law. He is every bit as unhinged as Trump. Amazingly unhinged.

As soon as he stops rambling and signs this bill, Florida will be sued. Stand by....
