Old Caps heads like me will remember Kevin Hatcher but even I didn’t realize that his 34 goals in 92-93 is the fourth highest in a season for a defenseman in NHL history. He had a strange career as he was a skilled offensive defenseman but in an era with a lot of them & fans didn’t give him much grace for being 6’4, 230 & not much of a bruiser.
