Trump seems to be totally unable to grasp the concept that NATO is a defensive organisation. If any one of the NATO allies is attacked then ALL the other countries within the organisation will be there to help. NATO DOES NOTHING ELSE BUT DEFEND ITS ALLIES. It does not and never will help to attack at the whim of one of its partners.
