Defense secretary Pete Hegseth said the crews of two US army AH-64 Apache helicopters that hovered next to the singer Kid Rock’s swimming pool while he clapped and saluted on Saturday are no longer suspended.
“No punishment. No investigation,” Hegseth wrote on social media. “Carry on, patriots.”
Trump’s speech was strange, low energy, and completely devoid of any real purpose. He regurgitated the same lies he’s been pushing about the war, offered zero clarity, and sounded unhinged. He openly threatened what amount to war crimes, casually suggested the Strait would just open up on its own, and slurred his way through the remarks. It’s unclear who that speech was even meant to persuade.
