It generally turns public sentiment in favor of Trump’s aggression to get the troop back. But just wrecking US military equipment is a perfect win. It’s bloodless, focused on the cost of war, makes Hegseth and Trump look like damn fools. Keeps them as the defensive non-aggressor and focuses people on “why are we even there”.
