I've had some pretty popular posts but haven't had much of an issue with trolls. Maybe that's just luck, or it has something to do with that I curate my responses heavily and will hide anything that takes the thread off the rails. I don't engage with those posts, just hide them. If they're nasty, I block the account.

Mostly, I’ve been quite lucky. I’ve had the good fortune to form relationships with authors and other book professionals who show the same respect to me as I do to them. Some of these relationships even turn into friendships.
Authors, be careful who you gift your trust too, but know that finding your people is absolutely invaluable in this field.
