Good morning. Buenos días. Today is Friday, March 27th in the year 2026 where I live.

I love my family so much. And I love that we had an opportunity to share own story of survival and not have it told for us.

This is what so many need and we must work to make space for.

I took creative writing classes with Carter Sickels in undergrad and it was the best decision I ever made because without that, I wouldn’t have had the balls to try this author thing out. I messaged him to thank him not too long ago too.

So, even if people don’t like my writing, he did and that’s what helps get me through the hard days sometimes. lol. I just remember that encouragement. I hope one day I can go trad but we shall see.

Me, walking into a large retailer I don’t usually frequent: “Wait, is this store regular evil or extra evil?”
