This is dangerous and stupid, and is a criminal offense using eggshell stickers, that aren't easy to get off. You've put them in 2 places, that can obscure drivers view when driving. You've now made this car too dangerous and illegal to drive.
I'm sorry but I don't agree. This kind of prank are abusive. Instead of teaching you make the driver so upset he's going to do it again as a form of revenge. Absolutely not funny.

Okay, so I can see the funny if I squint, but really if someone is desperate and angry enough to break their own side mirror in frustration, have you considered that you’ve made a someone’s hard day harder? What if he’s caring for a terminally ill person and he had a half hour to run an errand? You never know what is going on in another person’s life, maybe have a little kindness.

Do you check for security cameras? They could request footage to ID you. Keep fighting the good fight.
No they can't. If an offence has been committed the police can ask for it, or if there's been damage and he needs to make a claim the insurers can ask for it, but he can't access any footage that doesn't have himself in it.
