Heavy storms with strong winds and rain have flattened standing crops, leaving farmers with huge losses after months of hard work and investment. Many now fear how they will recover their money.

The government keeps funds for such causes for farmers. You need to visit the SDM office or report it to local district office if this has happened only with you. If the entire village has suffered then they will themselves reach out to you. It happened last year as well and farmers got the grants by thr government and their debt was also waived off.
Reality of Indian farmers is always uncertain.

Translation:
Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what people's hands have earned, so that He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done, that perhaps they will return to Quran.

وَ لَنُذِیْقَنَّهُمْ مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ الْاَدْنٰى دُوْنَ الْعَذَابِ الْاَكْبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَرْجِعُوْنَ.
Translation:
And We will make them taste the punishment of this world besides the great punishment. May return to the Quran and follow the guidance.
(The Noble Quran Chapter 32 Verse 21)
