How fast could we clean “house”, if we framed political roles as they are; public service.
How about we pay them a “living wage”. Set term limits. From these savings, each state’s district has an allotted campaign budget; any advertising, by other public servants/elected officials. This should take the mud-slinging and exorbitant advertising costs out of it. No campaign contributions necessary.
