Any writers out in Threadland ever have this occasional thought that we are all just characters in some diabolical author's manuscript? Like, what if that's what it is? And, like many good writers working on an unfinished story, no one including the writer knows how it ends.
I told Mr Chels I signed up for a “how to do makeup” class with the woman who did my makeup for my author headshots because I loved how I looked (natural) / felt (i wasn’t uncomfortable). I never wear any makeup (afraid, maybe? Athlete + sweating?) and am clueless on how to apply anything but I want to do something for my tour this summer bc pictures/people/etc. He says “that’s a great idea, but don’t feel like you have to be someone you’re not. Do what makes you happy” and i love this man 😭😭😭😭
