I’ve discovered that social media has really amplified how so many humans truly just can’t enjoy anything for what it is. Sports, TV shows, interests etc.
Always some deeper or artificial meaning behind it all.
Anyhoo, if Loki came along and said he was the ruler of Earth now and put this regime in a small box that got steadily smaller I would be like, "I'm willing to give this guy a chance."
