I just got my first phone call from Be My Eyes, an app that lets blind people call sighted people to ask for help with a task (reading a label, etc). To be honest I was terrified when I answered the call, but it was actually super fun! The person who called me wanted me to read her the information on the label of a pair of jeans she’d just bought. Then I figured out that her purpose was to try to buy them in another color, so I went to their website & discovered they only come in denim & white.
My 5-year-old did “science” in my bathroom last night mixing various things and we couldn’t figure out what she messed with this time until I was doing my hair this morning and I smelled a distinctly peppermint smell from my hair goop, but did my hair anyways.
I go downstairs and my wife says, “Your hair smells like your toothpaste.”
