I seriously laughed at this overseas couple who decided to have a lightsaber duel at their wedding instead of a dance by the bride and groom lol.

Lol no they are not. But if you don't want to pay $100+ I recommend a mystery box from Crimson Dawn.
Most are mass produced by LGT (Nexus) or TXQ (including Crimson Dawn). Unless you're spending $500-$1500 for one, your getting some mix of mass produced, with maybe some custom parts.
There are some good midtier companies though. Like I LOVE Rebel Sabers, and Theory Sabers has a good mid-selection. One of my buddies has a sponsorship with them and they have legit decent gear.

That is the way. In fact, my partner and I met fighting one another with longswords (not lightsabers, but arguably no less cool) at a historical European martial arts training camp. Been together for over 13 years.
Is that camp still around? Asking for a friend….
Haha, look up HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) groups in your area, they are all over the world and are typically a friendly bunch in my experience. ⚔️ 😊
