Looking toward the future
I’ll be honest, I didn’t think the Fetterman trade for MTG’s expiring contract and a 2nd round pick was worth it, but I’m coming around.
The way she's easing into this and directing blame every where except toward Donald tells me that she is trying to hold onto her MAGA supporters -- which is smart. If she goes scorched earth on Donald right now, she could lose them. If she eases into it, she could easily steer an enormous amount of MAGA away from him when the time comes to do a complete flip. I can't stand her, but she has a lot of influence and can get into MAGA's heads far easier than Dems can.
By the way, I may have said that was smart of her, by I am not saying that woman is smart by any means.
That said, I think she's terrified of Donald and possibly even Israel. She's a huge conspiracy theorist and likely believes Charlie Kirk's assassination was ordered by Israel. If so, that means she's probably worried that the same person that theoretically ordered Charlie Kirk's assassination will put a target on her head.
Exactly - and irrespective of the people MTG named, Trump is really getting pressure and will agree to the following people (to put U.S. troops on the ground in Iran): Saudi Prince MBS, and his friends who run the major U.S. oil companies, and some on Wall Street.
