Damn, me too. I just want to work as a barista in a café by the sea or something. Wearing a bikini, talking to foreigners about all kinds of things, partying all day, getting a tan, and no one gives a fck about each other’s business.

Amazing - but can it please be in the US? like, I don't love the states but I also love my family and am not ready to move international yet (and apparently that's controversial?)
I’ll open a branch in Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands and you can visit the mainland often. ☺️

I actually AM moving to the sea from Texas. That is the plan. Probably 6 months. But I just can't move to Australia and I'm amazed at how many people think that's unreasonable.
I had that exact job for 5 years (2015-2020) on the island where I live. It was certainly lovely, although it was for exactly half the money.
We had a pretty nice view -
Right? I don't want to hustle. I don't want to be a CEO. I don't even need to make millions. Just a nice quiet life in a bookstore.
I'll tell you what though, when my personal books take off and I have money, that's the plan. And to have like, two employees that I pay REALLY well.
And solve local murder mysteries with my dog.
