Pete Hegseth is incompetent at war.
Also as a human being. Though I do LOL every time he behind the lectern giving one of those "rousing" speeches of his. 🙄
If only we had a pentagon full of competent generals to guide his choices… or a House of Representatives willing to limit his war powers… or a senate who would convict him after impeachment…

It’s just that… he’s the “Secretary of War.”
So being incompetent at war is pretty bad.
That “at war” bit isn’t necessary.
It’s necessary for a couple reasons:
1) The sentence begins with “if nothing else.”
2) it’s my post.
But we know of several other failures due to incompetence.
If you want to highlight “war” in particular: his incompetence includes war.
I wanted to highlight war, therefore, I began the sentence with “if nothing else” and ended it with “war.”

Look at all the instruction manuals on "how America does war" that we're just giving to Iran.
