I believe if you do the crime, you need to be willing to do the time. I also believe that our immigration system is colossally broken. It takes way too long & cost an insane amount of money. With all that said, I would also be ok if they were detained for trespassing on someone’s property.

MAGA has nothing to do with ICE. ICE has deported many more illegal immigrants under other presidents than have been deported under Trump’s terms.

My parents would never break a nations law by coming into the country illegally. They would have done it the right way and complying to the standard so they don't risk their futures, as well as their ability to take care of myself and my siblings. If in some magic land their character changed, I would be sad knowing they now have to face the consequences of their choices, but I cannot be outraged that a country is holding their laws. It is cut and dry.

I’m an immigrant and I never let my parents stay here illegally. I got my citizenship and now applying theirs. They are on our home country waiting. We need to learn to respect people’s country. It’s sad to see a lot of friends being held by ice, but law is law you really need to respect it. It’s also sad to see that good people that works here and pay their taxes being hold by ICE. I feel for their family, but there was always a risk and all immigrants know this.
