Virtually no one knows what their electricity rate is. Except for one friend who has worked for the power company, I don't personally know anyone who knows. Every time I ask people, I get a shrug. And most people in Alabama get "levelized billing" so every month seems like a flat fee no matter what they use. This is part of why people are hesitant to get an EV. Electricity cost is too mysterious. What's a kWh? No one knows. 🤷‍♂️⚡🔋🔌
