Unfortunately celebrities will never eat or drink anything from a fan, for their own safety. I'm sure the cake came from a nice person but they can't risk it. Better to just give them flowers or soft toys...
Well not toys actually cause people could put cameras in those. Those types of things just go in the trash. Flowers, letters, coasters, etc (things they can easily scan and check for substances/cameras/razors etc). Think of stuff you’d let your children (hypothetical or not) collect from strangers.
