We were led to believe she had special insight, the inside track. I always listened to pod eps when she was a guest. Eventually I realized I’d never heard her say anything remotely meaningful about the man or the madness that I hadn’t deduced for myself. I was always rooting for her to unearth something truly investigative. Her caution was almost palpable. I stepped away from her “expertise,” confused. Maybe it was not her wish to be portrayed as a T-whisperer, but anyway, it doesn’t work.
