I served papers to a guy who had successfully avoided being served for months. I was walking past him in a crowd going in the opposite direction and he had no idea who I was.
Suddenly there was an envelope full of papers an inch from his chest, his reaction was to grab them.
I looked him square in the face, smiled, and said "You've been served."
He started screaming that I assaulted him, but I never touched him. And there was a crowd who saw the whole thing.
