If memory serves me right. I think it’s illegal to repair a Tyre sidewall and very dangerous.

If your intention is to promote sidewall damage repair, I strongly recommend taking this video down to avoid misleading the public. The Tire Industry Association (TIA) does not approve sidewall repairs. Any tire with sidewall damage should be removed from service and replaced with a safe, roadworthy tire.

If it ain't broke don't fix it! Those old-fashioned ones work just fine!

In Canada it is illegal to patch a hole in a sidewall as it is extremely likely to fail and cause and accident.
If you tried driving at highway speeds you would kill someone.
