Pass term limits.
Ban congressional stock trading.
Overturn Citizens United.
Get rid of the Electoral College, which is after all an accommodation to slaveholders.
Publicly fund elections.
Ban stock trading in Congress and administrations members.
Ban former MOC from becoming lobbyists for 5-7 years after leaving office.
Uncap the House we’ll all get more equitable representation, it will be more difficult to gerrymander, the Electoral College will more closely match the popular vote.
Just get rid of lobbyists all together!!!! They are effing bullshit.
Does a group of people, the ACLU for example, not have a right to speak to their representatives to explain their point of view?

Legislative term limits hand power over to lobbyists. Executive term limits are effective at limiting overreach. Government is more nuanced than a few quick talking points.
No—a BIG NO—on term limits. How long someone serves is a decision voters should make, not have made for them. If someone is doing a good job, I want to keep them in office.
Release the Epstein Files.
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I’m actually not on board with term limits.
Unlike the POTUS, Congress is elected by a direct vote. The constituents decide who they want to represent them. If they want to keep electing Chuck Grassley or Nancy Pelosi, that’s up to them to decide. If Iowa thinks Grassley is too old, they can vote for someone else. It’s not my place to tell them otherwise.
Maybe codify into law all the “norms” that were taken for granted and have been trampled by this administration.

Voters should decide how long they want elected officials (other than Pres/VP) to serve. Banning Congressional stock trading and overturning Citizens United are absolutely crucial.
Why should President and VP be any different than the rest? If people like the job a president is doing he should be allowed to keep doing it

We do not need term limits.
We have minimum ages for members of Congress, the Senate and President; 25, 30 and 35, respectively.
We need maximum age limits even more; 55, 60 and 65, respectively.
There is no reason for anyone older than that to make decisions about everyone else’s future.

Term limits is called voting. Age limits is the way.
None of that can be done with expanding the SCOTUS the first time a Democratic president is elected.

These 3 things would go a long way to fix some of the problems in Congress and the presidential administration.

Universal Healthcare! Untie it from our employment. Give the power back to the workers
Take away government health insurance and make elected officials pay for own health insurance, remove retirement options (being an elected official is a duty, not a privilege), and take away all per diams. They can pay for their own meals.

Create concrete, enforceable ethics rules for SCOTUS…
Create a national vote of no confidence for the president
Can we add penalties / impeachment for Candidates running as Democrats when They are actually Republican Plants?
