Self-care isn’t always pretty. Sometimes it’s just doing your laundry 🤷

It’s not always spa days.

Sometimes it’s folding clothes and fixing your space so your mind can breathe.

Sometimes it’s just moving the laundry to the chair and calling it a system.

For ADHD that's a full dopamine event.
Laundry done = serotonin of climbing Everest.

Honestly this is the realest kind of self-care

it’s usually the small, quiet things that keep everything together

It’s the little details in which some people find mundane. Meanwhile, others can find necessary. It’s not a sexy job, but when you put ego aside there’s this quiet sense of accomplishment knowing someone trusts you enough to depend on them.

Self-care isn’t always candles and spa days—
sometimes it’s just handling the basics so your life doesn’t pile up.

😭 I have a broken leg, I haven't physically gotten into a bathtub in a week...baby wipes aren't any way for a man to stay hygienic

So true 😊self-care isn’t always about candles and bubble baths. Sometimes it’s the small, practical things like folding laundry, washing dishes, or paying bills that keep life running smoothly. Those “unpretty” tasks are actually the foundation of peace of mind.
