A very talkative and insistent cat followed me for a half mile. She jumped out of the bushes and said, “BOW-rrow-mmm” to my knee (universal for “snack & pets, servant”). Every half a block she would yell for me to stop and chirp until she caught up. My first time hearing a cat try small talk…

Two bowls of food and many electric tail shakes later, she shopped my yard for a cat cabin. The house is okay (my two girls didn’t even notice her), but she left pretty quick and laid on a chicken coop.
