Try using two locks with enclosed loops (these are open loops so a set of bolt cutters will make them useless) & attach each of them to the wrench ends at the intersections with pedal necks. Works way better. The original video is obviously a troll post targeted at the life hack videos that try to show "practical" shit that's not practical by making shit pointlessly harder & less than or not at all effective.
