The United States Solicitor General is "Our finest lawyer not sitting on the Supreme Court" as a general proposition. The job is to make the argument on behalf of The United States of America. It's difficult. The government takes enraging, painful positions at times. Yet. It's my government. It's my nation. It's me.
Today, D. John Sauer disgraced himself. He went before the Court to argue that I am no citizen of this country. That my citizenship is conditional and revokable. He is a traitor.
On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 7 pm (PST), Dr. Lindy Elkins-Tanton, Director of the Space Sciences Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley, will give a free, illustrated, non-technical lecture entitled:

14th Amendment (1868):
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”
Seems pretty clear to me.
