Let me tell you why I support Congressman Eric Swalwell for Governor of California.

Last June; long before anybody was running for governor; Trump had deployed ICE to Los Angeles. I was on the ground as a journalist.

Governor Newsom did a phenomenal job leading the charge against Donald Trump’s radicalism, but too many politicians turned a blind eye.

Eric Swalwell didn’t turn a blind eye.

He called protesters and journalists at the frontline and stood in solidarity; he spoke up.

I hope that young man from Duke knows these are team wins AND team losses. And he holds his head up. These are kids, still…
