Them courthouse marriages be lasting longer than the fancy ones 😂
Yup $86 and it gives you a 72 hour waiting period after applying for the license just in case you want to change your mind. 🤣 Married 25 years.
Because people these days care more about the wedding than the marriage 😭
I got 30 years running weddings. There is a correlation between the cost and the failure rate.
Always has …weddings are for others not the bride and groom in my opinion
The number one leading cause of divorce is financial stress. So this makes sense.
So I had a court house wedding 6.5 months ago and a fancy one 2 weeks ago… what are my chances?
My parents did the Courthouse. 55 years together still communicating, and never stfu. 😂
Same my parents were married for 38 years before my dad passed and they did EVERYTHING together. They built their first home together.
So right lol. 12 years with my last one and we went to the courthouse. I know people that had beautiful ones that didn’t last 5 years and were still paying off their wedding while they were divorced 🙃🫠
Courthouse marriage 11yrs and going strong. Together 13yrs 😍💕🍾🥂🎉
That’s because they saved a ton of money to do fun things together instead of stressing over wedding debt
lol I went to a courthouse wedding. They are no longer together. I went to a fancy wedding. They are no longer together but stayed together longer.
Both were beautiful but some of the fancy ones go wild!! Like, what kind of event DID YOU PLAN?!?!
I just hit 22 yrs hit today with my junior high sweetheart..
Eloped to Vegas and got married in a little chapel. Still going almost 31 years later.
Cause they built off realness and not clout.
I wanna get married in a field of flowers ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ 🌷🌸🌹🌺🌻🌼🪻 with no one their 😌🤌🏻✨
Fasho I’ve always said this! And I still believe it
We got married in our home 15 years ago… been together 21years total
Sure do ! My next one will be at the courthouse 🤣
idk mine only lasted a year... lmfao 🤣
The difference of a woman wanting to be a wife over wanting to get married
Til death did them part is what my parents were on
Ain’t that the truth! It’ll be 10 years May 19 🥳
Factz my moms still married to a dude Ian seen since 2013
I was thinking of doing so tbh
$65 and 30 years of marriage later, I would agree
Yep! Married at the courthouse, no regrets.
$109 = locked in 20 years.
Facts. People scorned at me and my wife when we said we were having a courthouse marriage. Bought a house immediately after. And not having to pay for a party for people we would rarely if not ever see again.
Been married for 14 years and we got married young at 23 years old. Eloped at the courthouse and never regretted it 💜
I did a courthouse wedding. 21 years and counting
Amen, we almost had a courthouse wedding; I should've listened to my husband. Lol
I’m starting to think this is facts
From where did you obtain this information?
Jokes on you cause mine didn’t 😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣
Well mine lasted for only 8 years, I want a fancy one next time 😂😭
My niece and her husband have twenty years in. Courthouse is the move. Shoot, you can get a notary and sign the papers and keeping pushing.
My aunt had a good 30 years large dance one too it was so beaitiful
Oh shit, that's bad news for me. I went to the courthouse and JP. 🤣🤣🤣
My guess is because they don't have to stress about loss of funds that they used to display an extravagant trying to impress a group of people who probably wouldn't care if they stayed married or not.
They have extra money for a nice honeymoon, etc.
Me and mine said that exactly what we gonna do and knowing us we wont even mention it to the ppl until weeks later 🤷🏾♀️😂
Definitely appears this way, and I personally know a few couples who spent a ton on a wedding and it didn’t last 3 years smh
We eloped at a chapel in Vegas almost 20 years ago. ❤️
