Trump 2026: "We can't afford to pay Medicare, Medicaid. We have to concentrate on military aid. Let the states take care of it."
Very strange that Medicare and Medicaid was taken care of during world wars, Vietnam, Iran/Iraq was and maintained military but now that Trump started an unnecessary war with Iran Trump needs money for the military coming from a man who said he would end wars not start them. Well I paid into Medicare/Medicaid when I was working. My husband and my son have it deducted from their paychecks too. So Rump you should have that money in the treasury from where we all paid in to it. That’s OUR money so you by god should be able to pay it.

Anyone who believed him when he was running should have taken the time to read Project 2025, or just have known that the GOP hates any sort of government assistance with healthcare
The people who voted for this will claim Trump promised he had nothing to do with Project 2025 (I mean - yes, he did, but Trump is a notorious liar, and the people who voted for this do not comprehend the concept of a rising tide lifting all boats 🤷🏻).
Medicare money belongs to the people who worked and paid into it.
