I like it when people don’t like do things I do like.
It’s interesting what me saying “I will not recover from this” elicits.
“I will not own a narrative of recovery in the place of justice” is a stand of deep truth it has taken me years to get to. There is always someone who will come along and say, “but you NEED to ___.”
And immediately I know - we are not in the same place. There is not one thing I need to do besides the three commitments we made on December 15th, 2012:
1). To trust God
2). To stay married
3). To be healthy for our son
