You’re absolutely right. My great grandmother on my mom’s side despised white people due to her growing up cleaning after ungrateful white people and their children and living in South Carolina during the 30’s ,40s, 50s etc, and my grandmother on my dads side hated them just the same due to her being mixed due to the terrible things white guys did to black women in the Deep South.
